WORLD ENVIRONMENT DAY - CELEBRATION!

You Can Take STEPS Towards A Safe Climate Future

Saturday 5th June, 12 noon, Franklin Square, Hobart

Join Climate Action Hobart and other environment groups in calling for
clean jobs, 100% renewable electricity (no new coal!) and an emergency
transition to a low-carbon economy.

Climate Action Hobart calls on the new Tasmanian Government to adopt
our "10 Steps for a Safe Climate".

Celebrate all the good work that is being done to forge a safe climate
future and remind our governments that they need to do more!

Speakers:

Nick McKim, MP, Tasmanian Greens Leader, Minister for Climate Change,
Sustainable Transport and Alternative Energy

Vica Bayley, The Wilderness Society, Tas

Maddie Irwin, Climate Action Hobart

Alice Giblin (MC), Climate Action Hobart

Organised by Climate Action Hobart and supported by The Wilderness Society, Tas

June, 10am-4pm. Climate Action Hobart will be holding a stall at
TreadLightly to promote our "10 Steps for a Safe Climate" and motivate
the community to take climate action.
