If you live in Tasmania
Put a poster in in your business, market stall, local area or local shop.
If you would like one or a few let me know and help publicise this 
fantastic event.
I have put posters up from Kingston to the Channel, Huonville to 
Southport and some around Hobart. Though plenty more are needed around 
Hobart and further abroad. I have someone lined up to put them up in 
Cygnet this week.

The Huon Valley Environment Centre retail space has moved in to the old 
Granny Lews Organic Cafe until December. Including the Threatened 
Forests Gallery, a huge array of fantastic canvases for sale from 
landscape photographers of the Weld Valley. Think of the Environment 
Centre when doing your Christmas Shopping. We have Tinderbox Herbal 
Products, Hemp Products, Great Books, Hooded Jumpers screenprinted at 
the environment centre, Eco Warrior merchandise, Calendars AND Diaries.

Sunday 15 November
Weld Valley Visit
Activists from the Huon Valley Environment Centre will be conducting a 
visit to the Weld Valley, behind the locked gates to the Barnback Creek 
Area and Glovers Bluff.
Meet at the Environment Centre at 10am and travel in car convoy.

The Warrior's Heart - Weld Valley Workshop with US pagan, writer,
activist, Thorn Coyle.
This workshop will provide some simple techniques for centering
ourselves, taking up needed space, and aligning ourselves with the power
of the earth below us and the sky around us in order to become more
effective in our work. We will also talk about the blending of a
developed will and a heart open to compassion as good components for
sustainable work and strong communication. These techniques are
especially helpful in high-stress situations where stable leadership and
decisive action are called for.

Saturday 12th Dec 2009. Weld Valley. Meet at 11am, Huon Valley
Environment Centre Wilmot Rd Huonville. 2hr Workshop in the forests of
the Weld.

The Black Sassy Collective and Church Studio Franklin presents
a public forum
“Art and Environmental Activism”
with displayed artwork and talks by local artists who draw their 
inspiration from Tasmania's wild places, including the Weld Valley, and 
an open discussion on the role of art and imagery in Tasmanian 
environmental campaigns.
Sunday December 13th 2009

Afternoon tea provided. Gold Coin Donation.
We are looking for interested artists who may want to talk about their 
own work and inspiration at this forum. It would be great if you could 
bring a piece of your work to put up on display for the forum. Please
