The Weld River Rafting Trip is next Sunday.
So if you would like to have a raft down a wild river with a spectacular 
experience, make your booking now.
All proceeds go to the Huon Valley Environment Centre.

Meet at Huon Valley Environment Centre
3/17 Wilmot Rd Huonville,

Schedule
0930 Meet at Huon Valley Environment Centre
0945 Travel by car to Weld main road bridge
1030 Prepare rafts and get changed
1100 Pre trip briefing by river edge
1130 On the river
1230 Stop for lunch at Weld Eddy
1330 Continue rafting down Huon River
1530 Meet bus at take out (Arve bridge)
1600 Get changed and pack up rafts
1630 Bus will shuttle drivers back to vehicles at put in
Participants can make their own way home from Arve Bridge

What and What not to bring

The following is included in the price
All rafting gear including wetsuits, waterproof tops, helmets, PFDs and 
paddles
Lunch and a hot drink by the river
Guiding down the river and information about the southern forests
Please bring the following:
Thermals to wear under wetsuit
Footwear with good grip (it will get wet)
Cup for a hot drink
Bring your own wetsuit and waterproof top if you prefer
A towel and warm dry clothing to leave on the bus for after the rafting


How to secure a place on the trip
Payment in advance of $90 per person will guarantee a place on the trip.
