[Huon Forests] Help for Weld Valley Watchtower

For almost two months forest defenders have occupied threatened forests on
the banks of the South Weld mountainside. The HVEC is launching a new phase
of the tree-sit with a long term sitter for the winter period, we need your
support to ensure it is successful.

You can help by donating money (

or equipment to help support this long term tree-sit. Gear needed includes:

*Goretex rainjacket
*Good quality sleeping bag
* Small free-standing waterproof tent
*fuel stove
*thermarest or similar camping mattress

The brave forest defender who occupies this tree top platform will face
heavy rain, snow falls and high winds in this wild and remote region. They
will have a dedicated ground support crew but having some decent equipment
will mean alot to not only their comfort but also their safety.
