[Huon Forests] Weld Open day this Saturday

This Saturday 2nd May, sees a very special open day event in the Weld
Valley.


Join Photographer Matt Newton, Eco-toxicologist Dave Obendorf and

(hopefully) Dr. Pete Hay, as well as local direct activists to discuss

what motivates people to act in defense of wild places.



    The open day (including free vego bbq) will be held at the WR15F
Blockade

Camp, where activists have been defending a section of World Heritage

Valued forest, adjacent to the South West World Heritage Area, for over

6 weeks. Walks into surrounding forest will also be conducted, with

different options for the more or less mobile.



  Meet at the Huon Valley Environment Centre, 17 Wilmot Rd Huonville

(right at the only roundabout in Huonville) at 1030am this Saturday. For
